Get Rid Of Pimples On Chest

By Lindsey White

If you are planning a trip to the beach and have everything ready to go, your suntan lotion packed and your swimsuit on and look down to see acne on your chest, you need to know how to get rid of pimples on your chest NOW!

Relax, although it may not be possible to get rid of all pimples on chest overnight, there are things you can do to minimize them or at least make them less noticeable. Here are a few suggestions.

One thing that you should try is to take a hot shower and wash using an exfoliating soap. The hot water and the soap can help open up your pores. Immediately after you bathe the pimples may appear redder and more swollen, but after your skin has some time to cool down, the pimples and area of your skin should return to normal and be less noticeable.

Use pore strips. These handy little strips work like a charm. Just place them over the affected area, wait a few minutes and pull them off. They should pull all the dirt, oil and dead skin out of your pores.

Use a topical treatment that contains benzoyl peroxide. This chemical kills the bacteria that cause some pimples. It is best to use it right after you have showered so it can penetrate into your open pores.

Use cover up on your pimples if you have not gotten the results that you want. Be careful not to use too much though or your pores can become clogged and cause more pimples.

Don't be tempted to pop a pimple. This will only spread the infection and leave you with a red, swollen scab, which is often more noticeable than the original pimple.

Most important, remember that the people you are going to be spending time with are more interested in the whole you than in a couple of blemishes. Chances are good that they have a few pimples on chest themselves.
