Eckhart Tolle and His Works
Nationally noted spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle currently lives in Vancouver Canada. In 1968, Tolle was born in Germany, where he resided until age thirteen. At this point he moved with his father to Spain. Then when he was nineteen, he attended Cambridge University and the University of London in the United Kingdom, where he had recently moved. Some of Eckhart's London activities included counselor and spiritual teacher roles with individuals.
At the age of twenty nine, Eckhart Tolle claims to have had a spiritual awakening after suffering for years with depression and thoughts of suicide. This awakening is what started his journey of discovering himself and spiritual teaching. His teachings are based on living in the present moment and not living in the past or becoming obsessed with the future. He also teaches people how to transform their conscious to a become more enlightened.
