By Redmond Milovich

Do you feel that your regular wardrobe is boring and quite repetitive? Have you been wondering if it's possible to balance your old wardrobe with some new kind of style without going overboard? Maybe a Pashmina shawl can do the trick?

As we will explain, Pashmina shawls are the perfect way to balance your old attire with a new look. Indian women have been wearing them for hundreds of years in order to make themselves attractive for all who see them. Now you can adorn yourself with them as well.

Pashmina scarves and shawls are made from Pashmina wool which is the finest and most exquisite cashmere in the world. Pashmina wool is also used in many other fine garments, and now they are all at your fingertips.

Traditionally, Pashmina shawls were so special that they were reserved for very special events only. Brides and bridesmaids would wear them at the point of betrothal. However, today, even though they were once only worn very rarely, they have become widespread and worn at many more events, business meetings, and even casual gatherings.

This is exactly the kind of kick that your wardrobe could make use of because it allows you to retain your old style while enjoy a new look to it. You can wear what you are used to and feel comfortable in, while at the same time add some culture and spice to it.

The three general grades of Pashmina wool are Ghorpa, Bhaju, and Juju. The lowest grade of the three is Ghorpa which is usually made as a heavier material that would be used to supplement a winter outfit. It is generally used to protect the neck and head area from cold weather.

Juju is mostly used with very elegant clothing. It is applied to modify an evening gown and the like.

It would then appear that the Pashmina shawl make a fine addition to your wardrobe. Of course, you may wear at as you please. It would also make a fantastic gift for anyone who shows interest in adding a little spice and culture to their wardrobe.
