How To Remove Body Hair

By Christian Lewis

A lot of people some time or the other had to deal with unwanted hair and have struggled with a number of techniques for hair removal. The kind of hair removal technique that is best suited for you depends on the location and density of hair growth as well as on your type of skin and its sensitivity.

The most widely used method of hair removal is shaving. While shaving is effective and cheap, it isn't permanent and you need to do it frequently to look hair-free. A good instance of this is men shaving their beards daily. People also use shaving to get rid of unwanted hair from body areas like chest or legs.

Another technique is waxing hair off the body. However, the procedure is messy and usually cannot be done without help from others. The advantage of waxing is that the hair is extracted from the root, and it takes a couple of weeks to reappear, ensuring freedom from unwanted hair for a longer period. However, you must remember that waxing hurts and thus, it is not suitable for sensitive parts.

The third alternative is to apply a hair removal cream, which is easy to use and can be done by yourself. While this is free from pain, the hair grows back quicker than in the method of waxing. There is an additional risk of rashes developing on the skin as a result of the constituents contained in the cream.

Those who have unbalanced hair growth over their bodies can opt for hair transplant from the parts with more growth to the areas with lesser growth. Such a process is normally complicated and must be avoided as far as possible.

Lastly, laser hair removal treatment can be opted for, but its cost is too high. The primary benefit of laser treatment is its permanent results. But for avoiding scarring or other accidents, it must only be done by experienced professionals.
