Custom Subliminal Messages: What Are They Used For?

By Trevor Johnson

Custom subliminal messages are subliminal messages that you create for yourself or pay someone to create them for you. They can be designed for any purpose that you choose.

Subliminal means beneath our conscious thoughts, so a subliminal message goes straight to our subconscious and we don't know anything about the message having been received. The message might be in the form of spoken or written words or an image, and will be disguised by another image or sound, often sounds of waves or moving water.

It has been proven that our beliefs, attitudes and decisions all come from the subconscious mind, and these affect how we act and feel. Normal messages enter our brain via our conscious mind, and we often filter what we see and hear before allowing it to be stored.

You literally re-program your brain with subliminal messaging, and make it believe anything you choose; so you have a means of controlling your belief system. What you believe affects how you think and live; these beliefs come from childhood and have been influenced by the people in our young lives and the events that occurred. It makes sense, therefore, that our belief system may not be doing the best for us as adults.

This means that subliminal messages can be used for self-improvement, but they can also be used to influence the decisions we make as we go about daily life. The marketing industry has known this for many years, and uses it constantly in advertising on TV and in print. We are not even aware of subliminal advertising because it is disguised by background music or visible images.

You can use the technology of subliminal messaging by making and playing your own custom-made subliminal message. You might want to stop smoking, retain some important facts for an exam, increase your courage or improve your self-image. All of these things, and many more, can be achieved through custom subliminal messages.

Self-Hypnosis The SMART Way To Set Your Goals

By Rollo Janquers

Self-Hypnotism is where you hypnotise yourself in order to achieve a goal of some kind. It's not very hard to learn how to do. All you have to do is follow a series of simple steps. Then you just repeat these steps every day until your goal has been achieved.

Now the first and most important step is to set the goal you want to achieve. And the stronger you make your goal the easier it will be for self-hypnosis to help you achieve it

Why do you need to set a goal should you might ask? Well the answer is really very simple. Without a goal self-hypnosis just becomes meditation. Of course there is nothing wrong with meditation in fact it is very good for you. But we are talking about achieving something here.

One very good way to set a goal that is really strong is to use the S.M.A.R.T. way. What do the letters S.M.A.R.T. mean I hear you say and how can they help me set a goal? Well, S is for Specific. M is for Measurable. A for Affect. R equals Realistic. And T is for Time.

Now suppose for example you wanted to lose some weight. This is how you might create a strong goal using the S.M.A.R.T. system

Specific: a strong goal has got to be specific. The more specific you make your goal the easier it will be for self-hypnosis to help you to achieve it. So specific could be "I will shed exactly x pounds of my current weight".

Measurable: how do you measure your goal? Again by being specific! Using the weight example again you could say " on the (add an actual date) I will stand on my scales and see that I have lost exactly x pounds in weight.

Affect: your goal must effect your life in some way once you've achieved it. So you could say " I will feel fantastic and very proud of myself on the (date here) when I get on the scales and they show me I've lost exactly x pounds".

Realistic: it's very important to have a goal that's realistic if you want to achieve it. Like, "I know I will be able to shed x pounds by the (date) because I've checked out the height/weight tables and loosing x pounds will not be a problem".

Timed: you need to set specific date by when you want to reach your goal. You could say something like "I will have lost exactly x pounds by the ( add a date) when I stand on the scales and I will feel fantastic."

And that's it. S.M.A.R.T. and self-hypnosis will make it certain that you will achieve your goal.

Who Needs A modification Company To Stop Foreclosure

By Adam Whazzer

If you, like many people in the U.S.A, are facing foreclosure on your home, then you are looking for anything you can do to stop it. Firstly, be calm and dont panic. Do not get yourself into a situation like mortgage restructure that you have to pay for up front. A reputable mortgage company, that knows that their service will help you, will do this with no money up front because they know they will get paid when the mortgage goes through.

In stopping foreclosure, the first thing you need to do is always keep the lending company aware of your current issue. Work with the lending company and make an agreement with them to pay what you can, even if it is partial payments. This agreement, if followed by you, will keep your loan from going into foreclosure.

Once you get too far behind in payments, your mortgage company will file a notice of default. Your options, at this point, become very limited and your mortgage holder will not be as likely to work with you once this has been filed and foreclosure proceedings are started.

When you reach the stage of notice of default, your only option may be to pay the arrears payment along with the interest and foreclosure costs in order to stop the process.

At this point, the fees can begin adding up so fast that there is no way that a person can catch up. At this point, walking away from the problem all together seems like the easiest thing to do. Here is the sad part of this; there are some options that can be exercised.

The laws on foreclosure differ from state to state, They are not the same either in Judicial Foreclosures or Non-Judicial Foreclosures. As of February 2008, the Foreclosure Act of 2008 allows homeowners to file for bankruptcy and be able to save their home. Of course there are different qualifications for this. Most people will qualify. It will be up to the individual judge as to what extent and what the foreclosure will include, as far as all or a portion of the loan goes. It is crucially important that when you receive the Notice of Default, you notify the bank of your intentions immediately. So do your homework before you receive your notice if it is eminent.

Most people are not aware of this, but there are many foreclosure help Corps out there that can help you at this point. The earlier you get one of these corps on board, the better off you will be. So be honest with yourself and seek help before it becomes a necessity. This is the key to stopping a foreclosure. There are mortgage prevention programs and mitigation companies out there that know how to help you, so seek their help.

Not only can these companies help you stop foreclosure, they will communicate with the mortgage holder directly, easing your stress over the situation. They can restructure the mortgage or lower your payments for a period of time.

If You can't afford one of these companies go to the Internet and use your search engine to find self help to stop foreclosure there are a lot if do it yourself kits for various other legal maneuvers if you dont feel comfortable with the options above. Again, be realistic and seek these forms of help before it becomes completely necessary.

Espresso Coffee Makers: Italian Machines Are The Best

By Mark Knowles

The introduction of Starbucks and other retail coffee shops has increased the popularity of espresso coffee makers in the past few years. Many of us seek a way to create those wonderfully drinkable Italian creations without the need for a barista.

In 1901 people saw their first glimpse of the espresso machine. There have been several different variations since then. Most, however, include a few of the same basic parts. The portafilter, for example, which uses a small metal basket to hold the grounds. A steam wand on these coffee makers is pretty common as well. The steam wand steams the milk and then froths it for certain espresso based drinks.

There are several variations of the espresso coffee maker as discussed below. Each have their own pros and cons and the usage is dependent upon what each person prefers.

Piston: The famous espresso maker manufacturer Gaggia has roots in the creation of the piston driven coffee machine. Founder Achille Gaggia invented his creation in Italy in 1945. His coffee maker is easy to use and employs a lever mechanism to force hot tap water through the coffee grounds. This machine is the basis of the popular term "pulling a shot" because of the repeated pulling action of the handle that is required. The piston driven espresso coffee machine comes in two main forms, the manual and the spring driven version. A manual espresso maker simply requires the hot water to be forced through the grounds by means of pulling the lever. The spring driven alternative requires tension to be put on a spring which builds the proper pressure that is needed.

Pump: Pump style espresso coffee machines work off of a motorized pump. This pumps builds the force needed to brew the drink properly. This is the type of machine you will see most often in coffee shops because it gets the job done quickly. Commercial styles are hooked in to the buildings plumbing making them ideal for business use while cheaper versions that are normally used at home come with a built in water reservoir.

Steam: Steam driven makers work just the way the sound. Water is forced through the coffee using steam pressure. The very first espresso coffee machines were steam powered and is still used today in low end makers used in homes. They are still used because of the cheap manufacturing cost and lack of need for moving parts.

Air Pressure: Air pressure espresso coffee machines are more commonly known as Handpresso coffee makers. This name comes from the creater, Nielsen Innovation, who invented the product in 2006. It met fame in 2007 when it was first introduced in stores.

As you can see, when shopping for espresso coffee machines, you have many options to choose from. What you choose is mainly based on the application for which you will be using the product since some types work better in a business setting and others are targeted for home use. Prices vary greatly for each type and are dependent upon the brand and other factors. All create a great tasting cup of coffee though.

Discover Relaxation Techniques That Work

By Brian Meier

Relaxation strategies frequently can assist people shed the strain and stress in their lives that also account for sleep issues allowing them to get a good night's sleep.

Yoga is a preferred strategy for relaxation and will also have similar effects like acupuncture. In another study, participants were subjected to several minutes of mental stress. Then they were the subject of various relaxation techniques, such as listening to nature sounds or classical music.

Only people who did Yoga seriously reduced the time it took for their blood pressures to return to normal. Yoga is a form of progressive relaxation.

Respiring is one of the best methods to chill. Breathing influences pretty much all facets of us, it affects our mind, our moods and our body.

Simply focus on your respiring, after a little time you can feel its effects right away.

There are many breathing methodologies that will help you reduce stress.

Another easy way to attain relaxation is exercise. If you feel irritated a simple half-hour of exercise will most likely calm things down. Though exercise is a good way to shed pounds, it doesn't show you how to manage stress suitably. Exercise should also be used together with other exercise programmes.

One great way of relaxation is getting a beauty massage with natural aromatherapy important oils, this is beginning to become a favorite way to unwind.

To gain full relaxation, you want to completely surrender to the handling and touch of a professional therapist as the warm essential oils are massaged into your body.

There are many types of massages that will give different levels of relaxation..allowing the warm oils to penetrate your skin delivering total relaxation.

Another system of relaxation is Biofeedback. The common biofeedback-training program encompasses a 10-hour sessions that is often spaced 7 days apart.

Hypnosis is one controversial relaxation methodology. It is a good alternative for folk who think that they don't have any idea what it feels like to be relaxed. It's also a good alternative for people with stress related health issues.

These relaxation methodologies are some of the ways you can do relaxation. Another reason why we need to relax, except for lowering blood pressure in people and decreasing the chances of a stroke or a coronary, is because stress produces hormones that suppress the immune system, relaxation gives the immunological reaction time to recoup and in doing so function more efficiently.

Relaxation lowers the activities within the brains' limbic system ; this is the emotional center of our brain.

Additionally, the brain has a periodic need for a more articulated activity on the right-hemisphere. Relaxation is one technique of achieving this.

Relaxation can really be of good use once a relaxation system is constantly built into your way of life. Choose a technique that you believe you can do regularly.

So, over to you, make a decision to visiting your local beauty centre..and relax!

Massage Chair Therapy Helps Your Golf Swing

By Joseph Young

If you play golf then you know the importance of having a good swing. Your swing makes or breaks your golf game. The follow through and mechanics of your swing are very important to long term success. To ensure you have a consistent swing, it is vital to warm up your muscles, joints and tendons prior to playing. Proper warm up consists of stretching, light exercise and massage. These are important to get your body prepared for the repetitive physical activity that it must perform. Now you may not know that a massage chair can be an effective part of your pre-golf game.

The golf swing actually puts stress on many of parts of the body. The fact that it is repeated throughout the game will build up stress on the lower back, wrists, elbows, shoulders, knees and hips. All of these areas are required to work together to produce a truly accurate swing. If one area like your shoulder has tightness, then it can through your swing off. This is where a sufficient and comprehensive warm up can really help improve your golf game.

The regions that need proper stretching are your shoulders, arms, back, hips and legs. Develop and sustain a stretching routine prior to playing. Make sure you hit all the above listed areas. Calisthenics are another important element to add to your routine. Walking also helps you get your body ready. Using a massage chair to loosen up tight muscles and tendons helps your muscles in addition to stretching.

You may not be familiar with the tremendous technology that has been integrated into massage chairs, but they can provide many effective massage therapies. You can select a Swedish, Shiatsu or deep tissue massage. These are effective in loosening your muscles, enhance circulation and also increasing mental awareness and concentration. Many top athletes get sports massages to help them maintain peak performance. It is important to drink a glass of water after getting a massage to help flush out the toxins released from your muscles.

An area of particular importance is the lower back. Most golfers complain about lower back pain. The lower back or lumbar area is the fulcrum of your swing. The leverage in your swing is a function of this pivot point. This is used repetitively throughout the day on every swing. It is vitally important that the major muscle groups used in this area are effectively warmed up. This includes the low back, hips and legs. These areas need to be warmed up and stretched. A good warm up includes the application of heat to enhance blood flow and a penetrating deep tissue massage.

In order to play golf successfully over the long term, you must take positive steps to avoid injury. What are some of the most common causes of golf injury? They can be over-swinging, twisting during your swing, poor swing mechanics and too little warm up. The golf swing is where most golf injuries occur. If you swing too hard or do not warm up correctly, then you can hurt your back, shoulder, wrist, and other areas. You can reduce this risk by integrating an adequate warm up before your game. However, you must also be aware of your limits and do not over-extend yourself unwisely.

Your golf game can really be improved with massage therapy as part of the warm up. Of course, warming down is also important. If you are playing a few times a week, then it is really important to establish a warm up routine. This way you make sure that all of your muscle groups are adequately prepared for the physical exertion. Most people think of getting a massage when the experience soreness or discomfort. Unfortunately, this is trying to fix the symptom rather than the cause. Massage has many benefits and can help improve your game and your golf attitude. The most convenient and economical way to add massage to your game is with a massage chair recliner. If your swing is on, then life is good. When your swing is off, well then you will need a lot of Mulligans.

Learn Some Way To Get Her Back

By Bertram Martin Adams

If you really think that you and your ex are supposed to get back together, then you want to get her back. Learning how to get her back. Learning how to get her back is not necessarily difficult, but and some planning if you do wish to get the results you seek.

1 - Though it may appear counterintuitive when rekindling the relationship is what you seek, if you need to find out how to get her back you must start by cutting off communication for a while. This is going to be tough, and it may even feel as if it is killing you, but it'll be slaughtering her even more. After a little bit of time she will begin to realize how much she actually wants you, and how much she seriously misses you. Cutting off communication is one of the largest and most vital steps in rekindling things with your ex.

2 - Allow yourself to recover emotionally. If you want to learn how to get her back, you must make the effort to take the effort emotionally controlled and calmed down. Women dislike me who are desperate, clingy or needy, so pull your life together and get over those feelings long before you consider attempting to draw her back in to your life.

3 - Flirt with somebody new. This is another step that may seem counterintuitive in nature, but it is intensely helpful if you are attempting to learn how to get her back. Start chatting to another girl, because it is going to be too much for your ex to bear. Not only will this provide advantage to you because it will take some of your stress away, but it will also let your ex girlfriend know that you are moving on, which will make her envious and cause her realize how much she actually wants to be with you.

4 - Behave as if nothing is disturbing you. To explain, if you want to learn how to get her back, you want to play it cool. She is not not going to want to take you back if you are feeling and behaving depressed. You want to ensure that you are behaving as if you are having a good time, overcoming the break up depression to allow her know that everything is okay.

5 - Always look your best. Make sure that you are dressed to kill and look your best all the time. She cannot be ready to resist you, hands down. Appearance can play a massive role in showing your ex that you are moving on and look great. If you look great and take the effort to look your best, your ex will spot, and will reply positively.

These are only the start steps in winning your Ex back. They are the initial steps I followed when I lost the love of my life. And frankly these are not my original ideas. I turned to T 'Dub' Jackson when I had no clue of how to get my true love back.

T 'Dub' penned a simple, down to earth step by step plan called "The Magic Of Making Up". And you know, it worked like magic for us. Now we're more in love than ever.

Stress Management Advice

By Elias Maseko

You will discover all over and with the fast life that individuals endure these days, tension is part of everyone's life. In fact, people are so used to it that they handle it as a regular daily occurrence but tension, when not handled the right way, can lead to all forms of health problems, fundamental of which is heart problems.

Stress management is however, really easy to do when you make an effort, so if you bear in mind to prevent it from occurring, you can in reality live a tension-free life or at the very minimum, be able to cope with it simply because after all, coping with stress is stressful in itself. You don't really even have to go to elaborate lengths to release the tension - you can get rid of it by forbidding its taking place to begin with. Read on and you may just prevent those lines from turning up.

Stress is so usual today that it?s expected by everyone, so its better that you organize yourself for the huge problems and let go of the smaller, insignificant ones. You will only be able to do this if you keep your life organized because just searching for your lost pen in the work place can produce tension, not to mention, cause you to miss your concentration. Don't allow that to happen, so keep your affairs organized and it will make sure you are more ready to deal the bigger ones.

With adequate self-control, we can certainly think of imaginative constructs without stressing ourselves for lack of time and by starting quickly it will also ensure that you don't have to hurry when you are working on a project. You will be able to take some time and actually consider what you are trying to achieve and this will not only prevent you from getting stressed out, but, also permit you to develop great constructive work.

Stress levels will seldom impact you if you are ready for it, health-wise. You see, when your body is well and is full of energy, you are just about saved from the effects of stress such as the lowering of energy levels, nerves and frequently, even heart disease. This will only be accomplished by living healthily through eating on the right types of solid food and having the necessary sleep every day.

If you believe that you are already drawing close to your collapsing point, don't be stupid and take some leave because this will do you far more good as it will help you reload and de-stress yourself. If you're too occupied, don't postpone it because doing so will only make the stress build up inside you until you become too stressed out to even do anything. it i for this reason employers give holiday time so that individuals can take a while to relax and recover their previous vitality levels, and creative selves.

Learning Italian With Rocket Italian

By Sophie Parker

Learning a new language does not have to be such a chore and it does not have to ruin your schedule as well. There is nothing more fulfilling than being able to speak a new tongue. The only problem is that we never really had a variety of options when it came to learning a new language.

Beautiful yet sophisticated languages such as Italian require a very serious approach when it comes to learning it. However, if you do decide to employ a tutor or enroll in a class you might have problems fitting that into your modern-day, busy schedule. That option isnt always available to us.

Another option that you can take is listening to cassette tapes. These tapes were all the rage a few years back. Whats really great about cassette tapes is that you can play them when youre in the sub, driving around or just hanging out in the park. But the repetition can be very dull.

The first thing that Rocket Italian will have you go through is to listen to its audio lessons. But these audio lessons are different in that they have a very engaging script to keep you entertained. All in all there are 31 audio lessons included in the course. Once you are finished with the course, you can move on to the conversational books.

For every audio course that you accomplish, there is a corresponding chapter that you will have to read in the conversational books included which will help you with aspects such as grammar.

When you are finish with the conversational books, you can then play the software games included in the course. There are three games in all.

You can have your Rocket Italian course in two ways. The first option available is by getting the digital downloadable version. The second is getting the hardcopy.

Although Rocket Italian claims that it can help people to learn Italian in as short as three months, everything depends ultimately on your level of interest and dedication.

Studying for the MCSE Revealed

By Jason Kendall

As your research has brought you here it's possible that either you're considering a career change into IT and an MCSE certificate appeals to you, or you're currently an IT professional and it's apparent that you need the Microsoft qualification.

When looking into training providers, steer clear of any who reduce their out-goings by not upgrading their courses to the latest version from Microsoft. Overall, this will end up costing the student a great deal more as they will have been educated in an outdated MCSE course which will have to be revised to suit the working environment.

The focus of a training company should primarily be on the best thing for their clients, and everyone involved should have a passion for their results. Working towards an MCSE isn't just about the certification - it should initially look at assisting you in working on the most valid way forward for you.

Most of us would love to think that our jobs will remain safe and our work futures are protected, but the growing reality for the majority of jobs throughout England right now seems to be that the marketplace is far from secure.

However, a sector experiencing fast growth, where there just aren't enough staff to go round (due to a big shortfall of commercially certified people), creates the conditions for real job security.

Looking at the computer industry, the recent e-Skills investigation highlighted a 26 percent shortfall of skilled workers. Put directly, we can only fill 3 out of every 4 jobs in the computing industry.

This one reality in itself reveals why the United Kingdom requires a lot more trainees to get into the Information Technology market.

In reality, gaining new qualifications in IT throughout the coming years is most likely the best career move you'll ever make.

Throw out a salesperson that offers any particular course without a thorough investigation to gain understanding of your current abilities and level of experience. Ensure that they have a wide-enough choice of training products so they can solve your training issues.

Of course, if you've got any qualifications that are related, then you can sometimes expect to start at a different point than someone who is new to the field.

If this is your opening crack at studying to take an IT exam then you may want to practice with some basic PC skills training first.

There are a glut of job availability in Information Technology. Deciding which one could be right out of this complexity is a mammoth decision.

Perusing a list of odd-sounding and meaningless job titles is just a waste of time. The vast majority of us have no idea what the neighbours do for a living - so we're in the dark as to the intricacies of a new IT role.

Usually, the way to come at this predicament properly stems from an in-depth talk over several areas:

* Our personalities play a significant part - what kind of areas spark your interest, and what tasks put a frown on your face.

* What sort of time-frame do you want for the retraining?

* Is the money you make further up on your wish list than some other areas.

* When taking into account all that IT encompasses, it's a requirement that you can take in what is different.

* You need to take in what is different for all the training areas.

The best way to avoid the confusing industry jargon, and uncover the best route for you, have a good talk with an industry-experienced advisor; someone who understands the commercial reality whilst covering all the qualifications.

Many people are under the impression that the state educational track is the way they should go. Why then are qualifications from the commercial sector becoming more popular with employers?

The IT sector is of the opinion that for mastery of skill sets for commercial use, the right accreditation from companies such as Adobe, Microsoft, CISCO and CompTIA often is more effective in the commercial field - saving time and money.

Clearly, a necessary degree of associated information has to be learned, but precise specifics in the required areas gives a commercially trained student a distinct advantage.

Imagine if you were an employer - and your company needed a person with some very particular skills. Which is the most straightforward: Trawl through reams of different degrees and college qualifications from several applicants, struggling to grasp what they've learned and which workplace skills they've mastered, or select a specialised number of commercial certifications that perfectly fit your needs, and then choose your interviewees based around that. You'll then be able to concentrate on getting a feel for the person at interview - instead of long discussions on technical suitability.

You should only consider study paths that lead to industry acknowledged certifications. There's an endless list of trainers pushing minor 'in-house' certificates which will prove unusable in today's commercial market.

Unless the accreditation comes from a big-hitter like Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA or Adobe, then it's likely it could have been a waste of time and effort - because it won't give an employer any directly-useable skills.

Eight Literary Works Every Child Must Read Before the Age of 18

By Byron Jonas

Literature is an essential part of every child's formation. It is a vital educational tool with endless lessons to teach. Through literature, we come to know people, places and ideas without ever leaving the comfort of our sofas or beds. Getting a child to read, however, is not always the simplest task. That said, it is still extremely important. Through literature, children get to know the world.

Here is a list of eight must-reads for children that are sure to get them interested in reading:

1. Dr. Seuss Green Eggs & Ham One of the most familiar stories in world popular culture, the reading of Green Eggs & Ham will bring your child into a literary tradition. Its rhyme and repetition render it fun and easy to follow for small children. Furthermore, it is an initial contact point with poetry.

2. Mother Goose Fairytales These historic works of children's literature apply as much today as they did hundreds of years ago, possessing an inexplicable worldwide and timeless appeal. The lessons they pretend to teach are important ones that will not be lost on your children, and the stories they tell are endearing.

3. Robert Munsch Love You Forever Love You Forever tells the story of the evolving relationship between a mother and her son over the span of a lifetime. The short story pulls at the heart strings of both parents and children and provides important lessons about the passage of time and the changing of roles.

4. J.K. Rowling Harry Potter Before heading to the theatre to take your child to see the latest Harry Potter movie, why not pick up the book first? These adventure stories appeal to kids of all ages and all areas of interest, and your child is sure to get hooked. Plus, these books are a prime way to get your child interested in reading in the first place.

5. William Shakespeare Romeo & Juliet In the history of English language literature, Shakespeare is quite probably the most important figure. His works have saturated the world of storytelling for years, popping up in television and film as well. The story of Romeo & Juliet is a familiar one that your child will be able to follow while being introduced to this central English language author.

6. J.D. Salinger The Catcher in the Rye This is a book no teen should go to college without reading first. The voice it presents is something with which adolescents will be sure to identify. And though the book does present rather serious topics - suicide and sex, for example - it does so in a way that is non-confrontational and instead thought-provoking.

7. Homer The Iliad and The Odyssey These two fundamental pieces of world literature are key to the understanding of writing and storytelling at their very beginnings. Though these epic poems can prove quite dense, like the works of Shakespeare, they form a vital part of the genealogical line that is world literature.

8. Emily Bronte Wuthering Heights This passionate novel is one for the ages. Not only will your child become enthralled in its story, but you may be inspired to get involved in it as well. Furthermore, Wuthering Heights is a prime example of literature written by female authors, among the first of its kind to be truly respected by critics.

Ensuring School Success for Your Child

By Lori Radun

Whether you are sending your child off to preschool, middle school, high school or college, a new school year has begun. While some children love school and anticipate the first day with excitement, others groan when they think about school. For me, I looked forward to starting school, and especially loved the day I went shopping for new clothes and school supplies with my mom.

In our family, education is important to us. We work hard to instill good success habits, and with these ideas, you and your children can enjoy a successful school year too.

Establish Routines for Morning, After School and Bedtime

When my oldest son Kai was growing up, he was diagnosed with ADHD. It was then that I learned about how important routines were in a child's life. Children thrive on consistency and structure, and routines provide that repetition and instill good habits. Make up sheets of paper that list every step your child should take before school, after school and before he goes to bed. Be specific and practice these routines until they become natural and habitual.

Goal Setting is Not Just for Adults - Children Can Learn Too

The sooner we teach our children to set goals, the better. While they are young (under age 12), encourage your children to set one academic goal and one behavioral goal each year. For instance, I will refrain from hitting my sister when I get angry. Academic goals can include completing homework on time, setting up a consistent reading program, or increasing a grade in a particular subject. As children reach middle school age, they can begin to learn how to set bigger goals or set a larger number of goals each year. To remind your children what their goals are, get creative and make a colorful goals sheet or vision board.

Communicate Often with Your Children and Teachers

Last year was a challenging year for my younger son. Constant communication with him and regular check ins with his teacher were critical to helping him be successful in school. A child will not always readily share what is going on at school. While some may openly share the ups and downs, for others it is necessary to ask open ended questions that encourage them to talk. Children will share more easily when parents are emotionally available and can listen without judgment. Create a space during bedtime or playtime to allow your children to freely communicate with you.

Help Your Child Identify His Interests and Talents

Have your ever noticed how some kids have natural talent for singing, some children are gifted academically, and others have a special knack for taking apart and putting things back together? That's what is so great about children. Each child is unique and special. With all the competition and comparisons in school today, it can be easy for a child to get discouraged and feel bad about himself. Instead, help your child recognize what her strengths are by paying attention to what gives her energy, and what activities she naturally gravitates towards. Encourage your child to embrace his natural interests and talents instead of trying to be like someone else.

Minimize Your Childs Stressors

There are so many things that can cause stress for children today. Whether its the pressure of difficult or excessive schoolwork, bullies at school, or intense competition in extracurricular activities, stress will affect the entire family. Pay attention to what might be causing stress for your child. Eliminate the stressor or teach your children effective stress management techniques. Learning how to plan better can help minimize some homework stress. Minimizing extracurricular activities keeps a family balanced. Teaching your children how to control their mind by thinking flexible thoughts, and keeping fears and anxieties under control can go a long way towards alleviating stress. Educate your child about the importance of healthy eating, exercise and proper sleep. But most important, take care of yourself so you can model peaceful family living.

My first born is a freshman in college, and my youngest is in second grade this year. We are anticipating a successful school year, and with these tips your family can enjoy the same.

Bear Bryant and The Crimson Tide

By Cleo Powers

The tradition is steeped in winning football at the University of Alabama, and has churned out out some of the most elite athletes that college football has ever seen, not one of them can compare to one coach who changed the face of college sports forever, and that is Paul "Bear" Bryant.

The Legendary Figure in Alabama Football, Paul "Bear" Bryant

The first person that you most likely think of when you hear something about Alabama football, it is likely you think of Bear Bryant. At one point, Bear Bryant was the winningest coach in college football ever. This legendary coach served the Crimson for 25 years. In this period of time, Brian was phenomenal with six national championships and 13 SEC conference championships.

As a head football coach, Paul "Bear" Bryant went through several college head coaching jobs such as the University of Maryland, University of Kentucky, and Texas A&M University before he at long last had the break to return to his alma mater, Alabama. So encouraged was Bear, that he notably was quoted as saying, "Mama called. And when Mama calls, you just have to come runnin'."

In the year of Bryant took over as head coach , and began leading it to its previous Rose Bowl-style glory but accomplished even more. Coaching renowned players like Pat Trammell, Big John Hannah, Snake Stabler, Joe Namath, Lee Roy Jordan, Billy Neighbors, Bob Baumhower, Johnny Musso,, and many others.

No doubt, Bear Bryant was a prodigious motivator and understood how to get his teams to do what he required them to do. Florida A&M coach, Jake Gaither said of Bear Bryant, "He can take his'n and beat you'n, and he can take your'n and beat his'n." The motivation wasn't just on the playing field, the inspiration carried into real life also by the nature he instilled in his players like big John Croyle, who founded the faith-based Christian Big Oak Ranch for unfortunate boys and girls in Springville, Alabama.

The final year that he coached Alabama, 1982, was a down year for Alabama and Bear couldn't see himself coaching Alabama into mediocrity. He constantly said that if he quit coaching that he "wouldn't last a week." In reality, he didn't last a great deal longer than that, only 37 days. On January 26, 1983, Bryant died of a heart attack at age 69 and many mourned his death. Officials estimated that between a half-million to a million people were lined all along the 53 mile stretch from Tuscaloosa to the graveyard in Birmingham that was only blocks away from Legion Field.

The Legendary Man Changed Alabama and The World

Bear's legacy lives in the players that are now growing older and the fans that evoke his championship heart. Not only that... He helped shatter segregation in the South's football world, and in doing so, turned the state around from intolerance to splendor. Not only that, he changed the world to a better place than he left left.. He ain't never been nothing but a winner. Roll Tide!

Let Us Take A Look At Forms Of Anger Management Activities

By Cindy Drake

Anger is all around us, and can spring up without warning in the most unusual situations and places. Usually it stems from a small incident that just gets out of control and other times it can be a deep seated anger or grudge that just will not go away until some sort of intervention is done to resolve it. This is where anger management activities come into play.

Holding a grudge can have significant traumatic effects on your health and well being, and the anger that ensues from such behavior is totally detrimental to your overall state of mind, and can affect your working environment, especially if the source of that anger is from the workplace. You need to find some anger management activities that can help get rid of that stress, and sometimes, just having a face to face encounter with the source of the grudge or anger will work, and other times, you need to have a group encounter to have confrontation and discussion with the group involved.

There are a great variety of anger management activities around these days; and many of them are not just involving a group situation like you would find in the workplace; but more often, activities that you can do when you are totally alone to defuse the anger you are feeling building inside you. One of these very popular activities is journaling. Journaling is a very powerful means to get the stress out that is eating you up from the inside out, because it is harnessing that anger and getting the raw emotion out on paper using rational thought to express it, and letting you sort out what it is you are feeling rather than taking it out on someone else, which could be catastrophic.

The workplace is often a source of anger and stress for most people because you have multiple personalities working together in a confined space, and flareups over any number of things is bound to occur. People are all different, and the people we are forced to work with, may not necessarily be the folks we would socialize with or have as friends, so clashes are inevitable.

There is another whole world out there that can be tapped for anger management activities and that is the world of the Internet and its chat rooms. There you can find people who are going through similar situations as you are, or feel the same anger about various things, and are trying to deal with that anger and stress by talking it out with other people of like minds. Questions can be asked back and forth, and solutions offered to what may have seemed to be an unsolvable problem.

Getting things out of your system is always good, because the pressure is released and the opportunity is no longer there to go out and hurt someone. When you use a form of catharsis, you can get those feelings out and there is no need to involve anyone else, you are just writing in a journal and no one else will see what you have written. That in itself is beneficial, because you can let your feelings flow, examine what pushes your buttons, and why you feel like you do in certain situations. What in your past made you feel angry, despondent, hurt or abandoned----all of this can be dealt with on paper with abandon.

Anger management activities are in abundance everywhere and you must choose the forms that you feel will work the best for you depending upon your makeup and your personality. Sometimes group interaction is required, sometimes just writing by yourself in a journal where no one else will see what you have written is the best way. Whichever type of activity you choose, keep with it until you feel a sense of relief and release, because that is the indicator that you have released the anger and things are on the way up.

Stress Management Help: A Do it Yourself Way Of Relieving Stress

By Esther Tan

Stress comes in different forms. It is also a product of different factors. Different people get stressed due to different things. Since stress has been linked to other mental disorders, it is important to learn how to cope with it.

People have different stress levels for various situations. Each person also has their own coping capabilities. This makes stress management therapies different for each person. But regardless of that, all stress management techniques start with the same step. A person must first recognize what causes the stress. After recognizing the source of stress, certain measures are done to solve or cope.

Emotions are considered by many as what makes us human; hence, emotional stress is difficult to avoid. Emotional stress is usually caused by circumstances beyond anyones control. Example scenarios would be social defeat, relationship conflicts, breakups, divorce, or death of a loved one. Occupational or job stress is due to too much work for one to handle, losing a job, a close colleague getting fired, and other experiences. Stress can be experienced at an early age. Students facing exams and project deadlines are two scenarios of early stress.

There are many ways to conquer stress and for some this may just fall in to practicing some activities that may relieve stress. Activities such as sports and as simple as listening to music can help achieve relaxation which would result to getting your mind off with stress.

The most common music used for relaxation is ambient, classical, or New Age music. Music from Bach, Rachmaninov, Vivaldi, Chopin, Brahms, and other classical artists have shown to soothe an otherwise stressful day. An experiment suggests that plants grow better in classical music as opposed to plants left beside a playing rock music. New Age music, as the name implies, is associated with the New Age movement; which may also include Yoga and is all about relaxation.

Colon Cleansing Herbs: Accelerate Self Healing Colon Cleansing Herbs: Boost Health

By Kelvin Hall

The immune system is the body's defence mechanism, fighting infection and disease on the front line. A person's frequency of illness is very much dependent on the strength of their immune system, which is made up of a complex network of lymph channels and nodes. Certain detox herbs have beneficial properties to the immune system, and are a perfectly natural way of removing those nasty toxins from the immune system for less frequent illness and a feeling of better all round general wellbeing.

Completely side effects free, these Chinese detoxification herbs help to reinstate the lost harmony of the mind and the body without tampering with it. At Longevity Herbs we deal with such medicinal herbs that can help to treat drug and alcohol abuse effectively.

Another herbs which is a natural laxative and is good for flushing the system is cascara sagrada. This goes some way to help strengthen the colon and related muscles, and is often used along side psyllium seeds.

To carry the toxins out of your body with blood cleansing fast you need to drink at least 8 cups of steam-distilled water every day. Use herbal extracts to aid in blood cleansing. Drink juices made of beets, lemons, carrots and leafy greens.

Chlorophyll in leafy greens builds up the blood with important nutrients, promotes regularity, and inhibits cellular damage from radiation. This makes Chlorophyll an essential part of any blood cleansing therapy. Good sources for Chlorophyll are wheatgrass, barley, and alfalfa juices.

Chinese traditional medicine works within holistic parameters where each individual is examined as an individual case and treatment is holistic in nature involving not only the body but also the mind and spirit. It does not believe in generalizations. Chinese herbs are prescribed to normalize imbalanced energy, or Qi (pronounced 'chee'), that runs through invisible meridians in the body.

To cleanse the liver and the endocrine system you can use barberry, black radish, eyebright, lobelia, milk thistle, Oregon grape, pau d'arco, wild yam, and yellow dock in combinations or independently. Oregon grape is not an option when pregnant, and lobelia should not be taken an ongoing basis.

Chinese herbal medicines are mainly plant based, but some preparations include minerals or animal products. They can be packaged as powders, pastes, lotions or tablets, depending on the herb and its intended use. At Longevity Herbs you will find a wider range of products that can help in detoxification, namely Detox Combo and Detox Kit. It helps to regulate and eliminate bodily toxins and waste and has Reishi, Qi ju di huang wan (chrysanthemum/lycium blend) and a gentle laxative called ma zi ren

Psychic Children - What Makes Them Special

By Tana Hoy

Psychic ability is a natural gift that is a part of all of us from the time we were born. Some of us have learned to develop it through time with practice and patience, while with others it just seems to come to them naturally without any effort.

Some children demonstrate highly developed psychic abilities which others are only capable of after years of practice. In these cases, these children are just naturally able to "see" things happening from far away, or things that have yet to occur in the future. There are also children who are able to talk and play with deceased relatives because they are just as real to them as their living family members.

Psychic children can continuously develop their abilities with our help as adults. In time, we will see how, in their own way, these children can play a vital role in our lives. This is what makes them special - their ability to make a difference in how we view things and live our lives. With their psychic gift, these children can affect us in many ways.

The Profound Ways How Psychic Children Can Influence The Way We Live Our Lives

Accepting psychic children and nurturing their psychic gifts will help them grow into well-adjusted adults. We are acknowledging them as contributors to our own growth and to the community's welfare. Below are just some of the ways where we can help out each other:

Psychic children can be messengers between the spiritual realms and us.

Children's minds are very open and receptive, enabling them to easily see angels and guides, more often referred to by adults as imaginary friends or companions. We should openly talk to these children about what they see instead of telling them they are imaginary.

Future communities will have more psychically developed adults if we allow the gifted children of today to fully develop their skills until they mature.

We can help our psychic children of today as they grow with their special gifts. As they get used to it, we can teach them the basics of meditation and visualization. This will help them control their minds and create shields of protection when needed. They will continue to develop this as they grow up.

Psychic children can help us see truths or realities that we have been blind to as adults.

Children can freely talk and express their thoughts without fear of being ridiculed or sounding odd. If we really pay attention to their words, which are spoken in very simple ways, we will find they hold wisdom. For example, when they speak of death as "a really long nap time," it may sound funny to some, but there is a reality to it that can open the eyes of grown-ups.

Psychic children can promote an environment of love and peace.

Children are very transparent when it comes to their emotions - you can totally see if they are excited, contented, or very pleased. When children feel great and happy, their energies fill up an entire room, and everyone in it experiences the same youthful, energetic, and positive flow of their energies.

By being conscious of how we raise our psychic children of today, we will have a future community of psychically advanced people.

Bringing up these psychic children in an environment where their abilities are acknowledged, cultivated, and enhanced, will teach them to show the same kind of understanding and care when they are adults, towards the next generation of children who are just as gifted as they are now.

Psychic ability is a gift we were all born with, and we are all capable of developing it to the fullest. Some children are born with this ability already fully developed with their minds open and accepting of anything they perceive. They are not held back by fears and worries of being different. They are free to say what's on their minds, and their words usually carry wisdom in them. This is why it will help us to listen to them and consider the meanings of their words. Their abilities offer the keys to making great changes in our future.

Stress Management: The Power of Deep Breathing

By Johnson Star

One of the easiest things to do breathing techniques is by deep breathing, due to the fact that this can be done any where and any time you want. Deep breathing is considered to be one of the most effective breathing techniques that can be part of daily work out and can cause relaxing effect to the mind and body. But deep breathing was never considered as a form of physical exercise.

Shallow breathing makes the lungs and chest constrict. This minimizes the amount of oxygen delivered in your tissues. Doing rhythmic deep breathing aids the diaphragm muscles and due to this the lungs air pockets expand. And because of this expansion the lymphatic system is being massaged and as a result relaxation response can be experienced.

Deep breathing requires proper techniques to achieve its effect. Breathing deeply from the abdomen should be followed to enable the lungs gather more air supply compared to shallow breaths taken from the upper chest.

During exhalation carbon dioxide accumulates in the blood which eventually results to natural and automatic experience of relaxation. This makes breathing an agent of relaxation.

Breathing has the ability to address directly with the parts of the body affected by stress. The possible severe effect of over worked sympathetic nervous system usually caused by depression, muscle tension and pain, insulin sensitivity, GI issues, insomnia, and adrenal fatigue can be minimized id if deep breathing is mastered.

Tension is one of the unusual behaviors of the body which can be lessen by practicing full breathing. Once relaxed, breathing can be experience smoothly and can either be called shallow or deep breathing.

The advantage of mastering deep breathing is more than relaxation alone. Stress, taming down fast heart rate, lowering high blood pressure, minimize sweating and even proper digestion can be achieved once deep breathing is mastered.

You can do it on your own anywhere and anytime you want, it does not take so much time to do and dont cost you any money, and you dont need any special tools to or equipment to do deep breathing exercise.

Choosing The Right Adobe Web Design Training - Thoughts

By Jason Kendall

Should you have aspirations for being a web designer, find a course in Adobe Dreamweaver.

We'd also suggest that students get an in-depth understanding of the entire Adobe Web Creative Suite, including Flash and Action Script, in order to facilitate Dreamweaver professionally as a web designer. This can take you on to becoming an ACP (Adobe Certified Professional) or an ACE (Adobe Certified Expert).

Knowing how to design the website just gets you started. Driving traffic, maintaining content and programming database-driven sites are the next things. Aim for training that also cover these skills maybe PHP, HTML, and MySQL, in addition to search engine optimisation (SEO) and E-Commerce skills.

It's not uncommon for companies to offer inclusive exam guarantees - they always involve paying for the exam fees up-front, when you pay for the rest of your course. But before you get taken in by this so-called guarantee, be aware of the facts:

You'll be charged for it one way or another. It's definitely not free - they've just worked it into the package price.

Qualifying on the first 'go' is what everyone wants to do. Going for exams one at a time and paying as you go puts you in a much stronger position to qualify at the first attempt - you put the effort in and are mindful of the investment you've made.

Do your exams as locally as possible and find the best deal for you at the time.

Including money in your training package for exams (plus interest - if you're financing your study) is bad financial management. It's not your job to boost the training company's account with your hard-earned cash just to give them more interest! A lot bank on the fact that you won't get to do them all - so they don't need to pay for them.

Also, you should consider what an 'exam guarantee' really means. Most companies won't be prepared to pay for you to re-take until you have demonstrated conclusively that you won't fail again.

Exam fees averaged around the 112 pounds mark last year via Prometric or VUE centres around the United Kingdom. So don't be talked into shelling out hundreds or thousands of pounds more to get 'Exam Guarantees', when any student knows that the best guarantee is study, commitment and preparing with good quality mock and practice exams.

You have to make sure that all your qualifications are current and also valid commercially - you're wasting your time with programs which end up with a useless in-house certificate or plaque.

All the major IT organisations such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA or Adobe all have globally acknowledged proficiency programmes. These big-hitters will make sure you're employable.

Let's face it: There really is very little evidence of personal job security available anymore; there can only be market or business security - any company is likely to fire a solitary member of staff whenever it fits their commercial interests.

We're able though to locate security at market-level, by searching for areas in high demand, mixed with work-skill shortages.

Reviewing the computing sector, the 2006 e-Skills survey showed a twenty six percent shortage in trained professionals. Showing that for each 4 job positions that exist in the computer industry, there are only 3 trained people to do them.

This glaring reality shows the urgent need for more commercially certified IT professionals throughout the UK.

Because the IT sector is expanding at the speed it is, is there any other sector worth considering as a retraining vehicle.

Don't accept anything less than accredited simulation materials and an exam preparation system included in the package you choose.

Confirm that the simulated exams aren't just asking you the right questions from the right areas, but ask them in the way the real exams will pose them. It throws people if the questions are phrased in unfamiliar formats.

Always ask for exam preparation tools in order to verify your comprehension whenever you need to. Practice exams help to build your confidence - then the real thing isn't quite as scary.

Speak with any practiced advisor and we'd be amazed if they couldn't provide you with many terrible tales of how students have been duped by salespeople. Make sure you deal with an experienced advisor that asks some in-depth questions to find out what's appropriate to you - not for their paycheque! You need to find the very best place to start for you.

Don't forget, if you've had any relevant previous certification, then you may be able to commence studying further along than a student who's starting from scratch.

Working through a basic PC skills program first may be the ideal way to commence your IT program, but depends on your skill level.

A Five Step Staff Motivation Technique to Make Your Staff More Efficient

By Andrew Wood

How Easy Would It Be to Manage & Motivate Your Staff if You Knew in Advance How to Approach Every Question Ever Asked Of You!

It's amazing how many business managers actually field questions from staff on a case by case basis without ever considering that the very way you answer the question either contributes to that person's ability to grow and learn, or diminishes it! I have used the following motivation tactics at my golf course management company for years with great success! I also use this with my staff members who work on my direct mail marketing book.

Recognize, Reward, Retrain, Reassign or Replace.

Are the conceptual cornerstones of these five "R's" an easy and beneficial system? Is it a system you share with your staff and can rely on to give you the guidance you need to approach every question you are asked in a way that educates and motivates? I'll explain each "R" in detail, but first this is why it is so important!

When you answer questions directly, you rob people of a chance to learn and you might even be stealing money from the person who hired you!

It is easy to just answer a question but when you do, the person who asks it stops thinking for his or herself. When you do this, you're not functioning as a manager. In addition, it is likely the business who hired you is paying you more than the people they hired you to manage, so they expect your presence to positively affect not only the people, but also the decisions these people make.

You are being paid to contribute to this process. So when you just answer the question on a case-by-case basis, you are denying your employer the benefit of your experience. Now let me tell you how you can allow your staff to grow, but also give your employer the best of you.

Read the below bullet points for a simple understanding of this powerful system:

The Five "R's"...

The first two "R's" affect motivation, the last three "R's" management.

Recognize: As people often do, they will come to you to tell you something good they did. It is easy to overlook that they may be looking for positive reinforcement or feedback. Whenever you're presented with the opportunity, "recognize" the effort. When what they did was not positive, recognize that as well. When you listen carefully to what people say and respond in a way that recognizes what they are trying to communicate, even if you need to correct it, "Recognizing" then means you're interested and that is always positive.

Reward: Reward actually goes with the "recognition" they receive above, but only when their actions were positive. Rewards can be very big or very small.

Retrain: Approach a person's lack of ability to do what was asked of them as a training issue. Don't personalize; just present solutions to solve the problem. Even if you suspect that a person has the ability to do the job but attitude is the problem that too is a training issue. Some people need personal training improvement just as much as learning the technical aspects of the job.

Reassign: When it becomes clear an individual cannot get the job done, but they are a good asset to the club, then simply look for an opportunity to reassign them to a job or project that will provide them a better chance to perform to expectations.

Replace: In most cases, you're doing a person a favor when you let them go. People need to strive to find a place where they can be at their best and full potential. It is natural for all humans to be content when they know they are doing what they are meant to do and are doing their very best. Sometimes you are going to find that retraining a person isnt going to work and you wouldnt or cant reassign them. After applying the previous four "R's" to this relationship, the last step, if expectations are not met, is to unfortunately replace the individual. The good news is that if you have been applying the previews four "R's" it should be good-natured.

Some Tips To Stop Smoking Today

By Jamie Yeok

You've made the decision to quit smoking and that's great. You are giving yourself a new lease on life, and proper chances to have loving relationships with people around you that last. You have in all likelihood come to a place where you realize that you need, and possibly want, to quit smoking.

If you're looking for the best method, our suggestion is to do your research well. The last thing you want to do is to pick the method that is the least effective. Now that you've made the decision to quit, treat it as a professional decision. Don't go about quitting half-heartedly. Know the pros and cons of the method you choose. Know the side effects. Explore hypnosis and acupuncture as possible secondary treatments. Speak to your doctor so that they can best advice and support you in your decision to regain a healthy life.

One option is to go cold turkey and stop like you started. Instead of lighting up for the first time, you're essentially reversing the process and snuffing out your cigarette for the first time, over and over again. Or you use prescription drugs, such as Chantix and Zyban, or stop smoking aids which can be purchased over the counter.

If you opt for the natural cold turkey approach, do look into hypnosis or life coaching to support you with your decision.

If you decide to opt for the prescription drug route, do so with care, and consult with your doctor. The prescription drug treatments do have the potential for dangerous side-effects and their use needs to be controlled. Prescription drugs will help reduce your craving. You start taking the drug prior to your official quit date. Critics alert smokers opting for these stop-smoking drugs to the dangers that prescription drugs pose.

If you decide to use a stop-smoking aid, its likely to come in the form of the patch, gum or lozenges. These treatments are called NRT or Nicotine Replacement Therapy. NRT controls how much nicotine enters your bloodstream and helps you lower your cravings until you have none. The patch and the gum work in the same way and its up to you which one you choose.

One important consideration to make is to look at the reason behind your habit of smoking. If you can address where the need to smoke comes from, this will help avoid the smoker from returning to smoking.

Other choices to drugs and aids are "cold turkey," acupuncture and hypnosis.

CompTIA Career Retraining Uncovered

By Jason Kendall

Computer training for CompTIA A+ covers four specialised areas - you'll need exam certification in two of these areas to reach the level of A+ competent. You'll find that most colleges limit their course to 2 of the 4 sectors. Our opinion is this isn't enough - certainly you'll have the qualification, but experience of all four will give you greater confidence in industry, where gaps in your knowledge will expose weaknesses. This is why you should train in everything.

A+ computer training courses cover fault-finding and diagnostics - via hands on and remote access, as well as building and fixing and having knowledge of antistatic conditions.

Should you fancy yourself as the kind of individual who is involved with a big team - supporting, fixing and maintaining networks, you should include CompTIA Network+ to your training package, or consider an MCSA or MCSE with Microsoft in order to have a better comprehension of how networks work.

We can all agree: There really is very little evidence of individual job security available anymore; there can only be market or business security - a company will let anyone go whenever it fits the business' trade requirements.

However, a marketplace with high growth, with huge staffing demands (as there is a massive shortfall of fully trained professionals), creates the conditions for true job security.

Using the Information Technology (IT) sector for example, the 2006 e-Skills analysis highlighted a skills deficit in Great Britain in excess of 26 percent. Essentially, we only have the national capacity to fill just three out of every 4 jobs in the computer industry.

Fully skilled and commercially grounded new employees are thus at a resounding premium, and it looks like they will be for much longer.

It would be hard to imagine if a better time or market conditions is ever likely to exist for getting trained into this quickly emerging and evolving market.

A useful feature that many training companies provide is a programme of Job Placement assistance. The service is put in place to help you get your first commercial position. Sometimes, this feature is bigged up too much, as it is actually not that hard for well qualified and focused men and women to land work in this industry - as there is such a shortage of well trained people.

You would ideally have CV and Interview advice and support though; also we would encourage any student to work on polishing up their CV the day they start training - don't put it off for when you're ready to start work.

You'll often find that you'll secure your initial position whilst you're still studying (even when you've just left first base). If you haven't updated your CV to say what you're studying (and it isn't in the hands of someone with jobs to offer) then you're not even going to be known about!

In many cases, an independent and specialised local employment service (who will, of course, be keen to place you to receive their commission) should get better results than any sector of a centralised training facility. In addition, they will no doubt know the local industry and employment needs.

Just be sure that you don't spend hundreds of hours on your training and studies, only to stop and leave it up to everyone else to sort out your employment. Get off your backside and make your own enquiries. Put the same energy and enthusiasm into getting the right position as you did to gain the skills.

We'd hazard a guess that you're a practical sort of person - a 'hands-on' type. If you're like us, the unfortunate chore of reading reference guides can be just about bared when essential, but it doesn't suit your way of doing things. Consider interactive, multimedia study if books just don't do it for you.

We see a huge improvement in memory retention when we use multiple senses - educational experts have expounded on this for years now.

Locate a program where you'll receive a selection of CD and DVD based materials - you'll begin by watching videos of instructors demonstrating the skills, and then have the opportunity to use virtual lab's to practice your new skills.

Each company you're contemplating must be pushed to demo a few samples of the materials provided for study. Expect video tutorials, instructor led classes and interactive areas to practice in.

It is generally unwise to choose training that is only available online. Due to the variable nature of connection quality from most broadband providers, ensure that you have access to CD or DVD ROM based materials.

There are colossal changes flooding technology over the next generation - and this means greater innovations all the time.

Computing technology and connections through the internet will noticeably affect our lifestyles over future years; profoundly so.

A typical IT technician across the UK is likely to earn significantly more than his or her counterpart outside of IT. Typical remuneration packages are around the top of national league tables.

Because the IT market sector is still growing with no sign of a slow-down, it's predictable that the requirement for certified IT professionals will continue actively for decades to come.

Incorporating exam fees up-front and offering an 'Exam Guarantee' is a popular marketing tool with many training course providers. But look at the facts:

You're paying for it one way or another. You can be assured it's not a freebie - they've just worked it into the package price.

The honest truth is that if a student pays for their own exams, one by one, the chances are they're going to qualify each time - since they're aware of the cost and so will prepare more thoroughly.

Why should you pay the training course provider early for exam fees? Go for the best offer when you're ready, instead of paying a premium - and do it in a local testing centre - rather than possibly hours away from your area.

Paying in advance for exam fees (and if you're financing your study there'll be interest on that) is bad financial management. Why fill a company's coffers with your hard-earned cash just to give them a good cash-flow! There are those who hope that you will never make it to exams - then they'll keep the extra money.

It's worth noting, with the majority of Exam Guarantees - they control when and how often you can do your re-takes. You'll have to prove conclusively that you can pass before they'll pay for another exam.

Shelling out hundreds or thousands of pounds on an 'Exam Guarantee' is short-sighted - when a commitment to studying and the use of authorised exam preparation tools is what will really see you through.

Meditate in Your Garden With a Buddha Garden Statue

By Peter J. Greene

Some people like to find their relaxation by working in their garden. They put great effort in choosing the plants that they want, and deciding just where to place them. Often they like to add interesting ornaments and Buddha Garden Statues in their gardens, as well.

It's very peaceful to relax in a garden full of plants and flowers if you're not the actual gardener yourself. Just sitting and enjoying the beauty can be very relaxing.

Green is one of the more calming colors in the color wheel. It's a color found abundantly in nature and signifies safety. So it's no wonder that so many look forward to working in their own garden when they return home after a stressful day.

Surely, you want an idyllic garden at home, but how do you incorporate such a Buddha Garden Statue? Here are some sure-fire tips to get that tranquil garden you've always wanted.

Think of a theme - What style do you exactly want? Since the Buddha garden statue may look oriental, you might want to stick to some oriental pieces such as bamboo plants to go with your style. Of course, you can mix and match, as well.

You should put the statue in a prominent place where it's clearly visible. If you would like to meditate near your statue, then you want to make sure that you have a peaceful spot where you can relax in peace and quiet.

Water is calm - Sometimes even just by watching water, you're able to clear your mind from problems and negative thoughts. Also consider putting even some small fountains or a grass sprinkler around your dream garden.

Strictly speaking, Buddha means the enlightened one. As with the stories from traditional Buddhists, he was once a prince who left his extravagant life to seek the real life. Thus, if you can put this symbol of peace and enlightenment in your garden by placing a Buddha Garden Statue, you'd definitely feel more peaceful and have your own Zen-like place at home.

Your Buddha Garden Statue will lend beauty to your garden, and provide serenity. You will be able to be still and take your attention away from the negative, and focus your attention of what you wish to achieve. You will become more serene, and feel as if you're in a retreat.

Law Of Attraction In Action - How To Make It Work For You

By Trevor Johnson

There are lots of people now who are getting more and more curious about the concept of the law of attraction in action. The main idea behind it is to make things happen just by simply thinking hard about it. This may appear very silly but the groups of people who are believing this concept is still constantly increasing. They even claim that they are able to really apply this in their lives.

According to Science, you need energy in order to think. When you have something in mind, an idea or a dream, it will happen. This is perhaps the ultimate proof that the law of attraction is real and can really make a big difference in our lives.

There are two leading means to how you can possibly put this law to work. Synchronicity is the first. This happens when you think hard about someone and then the person, all of a sudden, remembers you too.

Aside from synchronicity, you can also get the thing that you like through enough motivation. You would need to have enough reason and perseverance in order to get the things that you want. Once you start your day positively, you will bring in positive things in your life.

Another example is for people who are giving up on their dreams right in the middle of the game. People want to be fit but most of them would give up after several days because they do not see any result. They have to keep their mind on the game in order to be more motivated.

As long as you keep your mind on the game, you will also be able to claim that the law of attraction in action is really true. In this way, you will be a step closer to a more positive and productive life.
